In addition to whitewater rafting trips, Sierra Whitewater also offers camping at River’s Bend Resort. River’s Bend Resort is a gorgeous, private campground on the South Fork of the American River, the same meeting location for all of our South Fork based trips. Vehicles are strictly prohibited past the parking lot. There is a short walk from the parking area to the camping site. Pets are not permitted at the campsite.
Camping is permitted for rafting clients only. If you have attendees wishing to camp but not raft, this is subject to availability and discretion of management.
Good to Know
Vehicles are strictly prohibited past the parking lot. There is a short walk from the parking area to the camping site. Pets are not permitted at the campsite. If accommodations must be made for check-in times, please phone a minimum of 36 hours prior to scheduled day of camping.
Fires must be contained to designated areas only. CalFire creates the regulations of when open fires are permitted and can change at anytime. For the most recent restrictions please refer to the CalFire website. Campsites must be completely clean of debris or a cleaning fee of $50 will be charged to the card on file.
